🚨 I fucking hate society. The catapult/slingshot attacks keep happening down the River Lea/ New River Cheshunt. Update on the catapulted duck rescue today. ⚠️ Warning unpleasant pictures Unfortunately his injuries were too severe and he had to be laid to rest. The lovely staff at cheshunt animal clinic were in touch with the swan sanctuary vet and a decision was made to end his suffering. The police have been notified along with evidence of the catapult pellet that is clearly inserted into the jaw. We need more coverage on this, if anyone has any contacts in the media/local newspapers please let me know asap. We are now urging all parents of boys around the school years of 8-10 to check to see if they have any catapults in their possession or hidden in their rooms. Dog walkers, joggers etc, please use the New River, and River Lea and patrol for our wildlife at the same time. Don’t forget to take pictures/videos, a dropped pin location and call 999 if you suspect anything. If anyone has any information on the boys in question then please send me a message.
