I paid premium prices for the FIFA World Cup 2026 USA opener at SoFi. Row 21 of 22. Corner section. Then I watched FIFA sell better seats during the "last-minute sale" that same week. So I built a site to find out if it was just me. It wasn't.

@benwills Seriously question, not a dev, why not just use 4.6 instead of 4.7?

I spent the last four days going deep on a fairly complex C++ problem. I just worked through the night again, wrestling with Claude to figure out some last bits of code that just weren't coming together. Claude Opus 4.7 is nowhere near the level of 4.6. It's just not as good. Period. So I tried giving it to OpenAI's GPT 5.4 in the Codex app. GPT 5.4 figured it out on the first try. It also perfectly explained what was happening, implemented the fix, and talked me through some other nuances and critical decisions really well. If they keep their usage limits where they are now, and don't decrease them like Claude has done, they have a serious shot at winning over a whole lot of developers.

This is the biggest head scratcher for me. How was this called a goal on the ice with no official having a clear sight of puck over the line. Can’t have this mistakes happen in playoffs
