@RoyalistW I’m glad you don’t get it but going out into the world doesnt fix the intense emotional pain and trauma, unfortunately just moving to the woods won’t change that, it won’t suddenly make you want to eat and drink. It’s a nice thought but mental health isnt that simple.

Suicide is an act I can not understand If you have given up on life then there is no reason to fear death much less anything else. Quite your job, wander the world, live in the woods, etc, etc. You might as well risk it all if you’re ready to throw it all away anyhow.

@Chizitere_xyz The most common cause of death for women in pregnancy is being murdered, usually by the man who got her pregnant - I feel like that would probably increase if men knew there was no getting out of being known as the dad and thusly having requirements.

I’ll just say it: mandatory DNA testing at birth protects absolutely everyone. If a woman is telling the truth, a routine cheek swab at the hospital changes nothing about her life. But if she’s lying, that simple swab prevents a good man from having his finances, his youth, and his heart hijacked for the next eighteen years. We need to normalize mandatory testing so men don’t have to feel guilty for wanting to know if the child they are paying for is actually theirs.

@LoudOutside If men are working a full time job that provides for his family, including but not limited to 60%-100% of all income, insurance, and 401k for retirement (typical reality), then the spouse can keep the house clean, and feed him. It's not difficult.

@PastorAlTaco @melsorbit @meishato American prison system is already privatised. But yes, cops, prison guards, ICE, people who work with people in comas/severely disabled people who - we know from experience that people in these fields can and have SA’d and gotten those under their care pregnant.

We're aware that extreme cases exist, those cases that could get two doctors to approve a termination don't need this law change. The 'hysterical' people are heavily against women taking measures to abort their own late term pregnancy and not face any consequences. The whole 'no woman would ever...' arguement is fucking nonsense because why do you need to change the law if that's the case? There was recently a woman convicted of doing this exact thing her excuse...she cheated on her partner and didn't want him to find out if the baby turned out to not be his. We don't think it's right to go unpunished for this type of thing, that's not hysterical.
