Sedevacantists have it so easy. They insist on an exaggerated and slavish obedience to the Pope, but then declare that there is no Pope, so the only obedience they end up owing to anyone is to themselves.

They could've made treaties among themselves and fought as one people of "Turtle Island" but they didn't.

@Reil76 It doesn't protect independence if they are purposely appointed by a hard right or hard left political leader. Elected by the people judges would ensure they campaign on their past record. We the taxpaying voters should be the final "judge".

Danielle Smith is sounding more American every day. Talking about elected judges like that’s normal here, except it isn’t. In Canada, judges are appointed to protect independence, not turned into political contests.
