@Lordoftheringsu does not seem believable. I think someone is pulling my leg. It was a trilogy, You would think you would shoot the scenes in the first and second film before moving to the third film.......and the end of the third film at that. I think Mckellen/Jackson are being cheeky here.

Did you know Gandalf’s emotional farewell at the Grey Havens was only Sir Ian McKellen’s second scene filmed for The Lord of the Rings? On day two, he barely knew the Hobbit actors and had to ask Peter Jackson, "Do I know these Hobbits? Do I love them?" Jackson replied, "Yes, you've been on a great adventure with them." McKellen didn't know how to feel yet, so he chose to keep his face completely neutral. The fact that this heartbreaking climax was shot before they even knew each other is a true testament to the actors' incredible professionalism and Peter Jackson's cinematic genius!

For 300 years, a single tree stood alone in the heart of the Sahara. The most isolated tree on earth. The only tree for 250 miles in any direction. In 1973, a truck driver hit it. The Tree of Ténéré was so significant that it was one of the only trees ever marked on a map drawn at a scale of 1:4,000,000. In a desert the size of a continent, cartographers felt it was too important to leave off. Caravans navigated by it. Tuareg nomads considered it sacred. The Tuareg people who passed it on their journeys never used it for firewood or allowed their camels to graze on it. In a desert where survival demanded using everything available, this single tree was left completely untouched out of reverence. During a dig near the tree in 1938, researchers found that its roots had reached the water table 33 to 36 metres below the surface. In 1973, a Libyan truck driver, reportedly drunk, followed the old caravan route and drove directly into the trunk. His name was never released. The impact shattered the acacia beyond recovery. The remains were taken to the National Museum of Niger in Niamey, where they are still kept today.

In 2021, 27-year-old Carli Bellmer accidentally swallowed one of her AirPods after mistaking it for an ibuprofen pill. She realized what had happened almost immediately and tried to make herself vomit, but it didn’t work. The AirPod was still connected to her phone, so when Carli sent a voice message to a friend, the audio was recorded from inside her stomach, capturing strange gurgling sounds. An X-ray later confirmed the AirPod was moving through her body, and it eventually passed naturally. Carli shared the story as a warning to others: always check what you’re swallowing.

@crazyhellga @creepydotorg Interestingly, I was only mentioning about the gulags in the last 100 years as opposed to the 150/400 years of condition gulag propaganda as you say. Was there gulags before that? @crazyhellga Also, What should I get my sources?

@SeekFain @creepydotorg That’s because you have been conditioned by 150 years (in the US), or 400 years (in Europe) of anti-Russian propaganda to believe all the crap that is written about Russia. Most of the news and all of pop culture about Russia produced in the west is bullshit.

The infamous “Russian Sleep Experiment” image was never a real test subject. For years, the photo was shared with the story of a secret Soviet experiment where prisoners were kept awake for days until they went insane. The smiling, creepy face became the image everyone associated with the story. But it had nothing to do with Russia. Nothing to do with sleep deprivation. And nothing to do with a real experiment. The figure was actually a prop called “Spazm,” created in 2005. The Russian Sleep Experiment itself was a creepypasta. The nightmare face that made it feel real was just a Halloween decoration.

A Hungarian Steam fan was pretty mad when his brand-new Steam Controller got mistakenly shipped to the UK instead of his home. After he reached out to support, Valve quickly apologized, explained that the mix-up had hit only a small batch of packages, and rushed to fix the delivery. To make up for the hassle, they let him pick any standard Steam game he wanted. He chose Forza Horizon 6 (worth around 70€) and now he’s a lifelong Valve fan.

Maduro’s son reveals how the former Venezuelan dictator is living in a U.S. prison Nicolás Maduro is being held in a shared unit with 18 inmates. The ousted dictator spends his time reading books and learning English. Half of his cellmates speak Spanish, and Maduro is allowed to call his family every day. His regime’s victims never had such conditions — many were brutally tortured and killed in secret prisons in Venezuela.

🇬🇧 British student Henry Nowak gets randomly stabbed by a Sikh guy with a legally permitted ceremonial sword. Cops arrived, the attacker claimed “racial abuse,” so they arrest the bleeding victim. Nowak died in custody. When this nightmare in the UK ends, save the names and faces of all the officers who helped perpetrate this mess. They should be held accountable for ALL the harm they helped to create. Source: BBC
