Don’t buy the iPhone 17 Pro Max for ₹1,49,900. Buy a ₹25,000 phone instead. It still clicks good photos, runs apps, and makes calls. Invest the remaining ₹1,24,900 in a fixed deposit at 7%. After 3 years, you will have ~₹1.53 lakh, and you will still have a working phone, while iPhone buyers will be holding a depreciated device.
