When interpreted properly, and not by a heretical nitwit, these books are seen as consistent with the rest of Scripture, supporting doctrines such as praying for the dead and intercession. You not liking the truths held in these books is not a concern of actual Christians.

The Apocryphal books contain incorrect information, contradict the other books of the Bible, and don't even read like the rest of Scripture. Why would anyone think they are divinely inspired?
