@Delta why are we (Flight 5293 from Fort Wayne) sitting on the tarmac at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta for 4 HOURS???? We landed at 11:32 and it is now 3:34am! Below are the FAA rules! @SecDuffy @delta I’m sure I won’t get a personal response but this is horrible!

@Delta Glad he wasn’t on tonight’s @Delta DL1393 this is horrible @ATLairport. We took off 2+ hours late (9pm instead of 6:30pm) to arrive to this 💩show here in Atlanta SITTING on the tarmac now from 11:38PM to 3:28AM STILL #WTF and the captain has barely said a word!!

Trump’s war with Iran is driving up gas prices. Americans shouldn’t be stuck paying the bill for his bad decisions. We need to end this war and do more to lower costs for families. One thing we can do immediately to help is suspend the federal gas tax and bring some relief at the pump NOW.

@Delta why is flight 1124 sitting on the tarmac in Atlanta since 12am after having been delayed so that everyone missed their connections and there is not a gate available? This is abuse.

@Delta has kept me on the tarmac in Atlanta for 2 hours and 34 minutes and counting. The pilot (and I have this recorded) has said that he feels defeated. @11AliveSports @FOX5Atlanta @atlantanews I’m not sure if I’m defeated but what a horrible way to handle a hail storm.

@delta flight 1529 landed at 12AM. Sitting on tarmac for 2 hours because they cannot get us to a gate. Happening to a very large number of flights that were already heavily delayed. Passengers should file a DOT complaint here once it reaches 3 hours. airconsumer.dot.gov/consumer/s/

@Delta DL5165 has been sitting on the runway for hours in Atlanta packed full passengers who cannot get off the plane because no one is around to extend the bridge- seriously

DELTA AIRLINES Flying back from DC stuck in Atlanta on the runway for HOURS because there is no one in the airport to extend the gate to the plane!! WTH!! Pretty bad when even the pilots cant get a hold of anyone!! @Delta

Arrived to Atlanta at midnight, and we are still just sitting on tarmac an hour later cos @delta has no open gates to provide our airplane. 5 hours late and counting with no update in sight. #deltashitshow

On the tarmac with @Delta at @ATLairport for over two hours now. No gates. 30+ planes of passengers sitting here. Been on this same plane for almost 7 hours trying to get from Memphis to Atlanta. Evidently gate agent just stopped answering pilots. Pinnacle customer experience.
