La partie ornée du logo HP est orientée vers le bas, celle portant le logo IBM vers le haut, créant ainsi un nouveau mode de déploiement de l’aileron. ➡️ Ferrari a surpris tout le monde en présentant un système de déploiement d'aileron arrière inédit. Sur la SF-26 qui a pris la piste ce matin avec Lewis au volant, le volet supérieur est « inversé », une solution sans équivalent parmi toutes celles observées jusqu'à présent. ➡️ Le volet s'ouvre désormais grâce à un pivot central. Cela permet également le mouvement de la partie arrière. Autre différence : une fois ouvert en position horizontale, le volet continue de pivoter et effectue un demi-tour complet (180°). Concrètement, la partie avant du volet, ornée du logo HP, pivote davantage et se dirige vers le bas, tandis que la partie arrière, où apparaît le logo du sponsor IBM en bleu, se dirige vers le haut. ➡️ Cela a pour conséquence que le bord de fuite, lorsque l'aile est ouverte (et qui coïncide pratiquement avec le bord d'attaque lorsque l'aile est fermée), adopte un profil complètement différent. Il en résulte une sorte d'expansion, la partie avant centrale du volet devenant l'élément de guidage des flux sortants.

@Cl16__FanpageFr This design looks hideous tbh, and without CFD or wind-tunnel data, I can’t see how it’s more efficient than Alpine’s (and Audi’s) more elegant solution. During movement, airflow is briefly blocked, and reattachment seems worse than with the others (all without having any data)

Charles and other drivers just provide their feedback, and the engineers must convert that feedback into actual performance. Also Ferrari was nowhere near the level of RB since Ferrari stopped the aero development of their car in April.

The problem is mistrust between driver and team. Charles has been in Ferrari for 7 years, he should at least make it better
