NEW: NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani is walking around the city knocking on random people’s doors to inspect their homes and make sure they’re “up to code.” Does he really need an entire camera crew with him? “We found six different violations in this inspection and will hold the landlords accountable.” A mayor showing up unannounced at private residences with cameras rolling to inspect inside people’s homes just feels off.
