I'm not surprised by today's Supreme Court ruling, but I'm devastated by what this will mean for Americans whose voices will be silenced.   This fight is far from over, and we're going to do everything in our power to fight back and defend voting rights everywhere.

Gas prices just hit a four-year-high thanks to Trump's war of choice in Iran.   After campaigning on 'making America affordable again' Trump has made everything more expensive for American families while spending our tax dollars on ballrooms and bombs. This isn't leadership.

Americans are already struggling to afford their lives. And gas prices just keep climbing from Trump’s Iran war – now the highest they've been in years. Tell me, how is this affecting your family?

Today, the Supreme Court is hearing arguments on Trump's cruel and unlawful attempts to end Temporary Protected Status. TPS holders are essential and our message to the Court is simple: do your job, uphold the law, save lives, & protect our communities. Their home is here.

And, to be Blunt, the teachers deserve it more.

People living under Temporary Protected Status strengthen communities— ending the program and sending folks back to dangerous situations is wrong, cruel, and illegal.   This morning, I joined @SenMarkey, @RepPressley, & @RepDWStweets to call on the Supreme Court to Defend TPS.

Folks up and down our state know what happens when you don't have clean air to breathe. They're not alone: nearly half of all Americans are living in places with polluted air as this administration rolls back protections meant to keep our communities safe and healthy.

From the top down, this administration is flailing. The American people can barely afford gas and groceries, and Trump has made it worse by starting a war with no plan for how to end it.

Instead of spending $70 billion MORE on ICE, why don't we use that money to help millions of young people buy their first home?

For the millions of Americans working long hours and making sacrifices to keep the lights on and the house warm, the President's obsession with stock market records couldn't be more out of touch.

Changing the name won't make Americans forget the horrors ICE has inflicted on our friends and neighbors. Let's focus less on rebranding and more on reform.
