Thank you, Senators @harveypeeler & @SenTomDavisSc for putting the people of SC first. Families are working hard, stretching every dollar, and deserve meaningful tax relief. At a time when so many are struggling to make ends meet, fiscal responsibility isn’t just good policy, it’s the right thing to do.

While its "leaders" bicker over political spoils and play the succession game, the South Carolinians they purportedly represent are struggling mightily. Our @TheWillFolks reports... #SCBiz fitsnews.com/2026/07/15/sou…

With Senator @LindseyGrahamSC and others at an event in Bluffton last summer. Like so many, I was stunned to learn of his passing. His love for South Carolina and our country, and his dedication to their wellbeing, went unquestioned, even by his political foes. Rest in peace.

@Amber53042423 @_CaptChristine_ @AprilCromerSC I am in the Senate, not the House. I voted for the Ivermectin bill when it passed the Senate. The electronic voting board pic posted at the top of this thread is a depiction of the House vote to kill the Ivermectin bill, and the “Davis” on that board is House Rep. Sylleste Davis.

SC doesn't have a Democrat problem we have a Republican leadership problem. They waited until after the primary to show their true colors. Blocking Ivermectin access is another reminder that the biggest threat to freedom in SC isn't the Left, it's the establishment Republicans who betray their own voters. South Carolinians deserve better.

Sad news in South Carolina. RINOs (in green) just killed the OTC ivermectin bill by sending it to committee.

South Carolina just proved once again that its ruling class cares more about control and kissing up to Big Pharma/FDA overlords than actual freedom or public health. A bill to make Ivermectin available over the counter, a Nobel Prize-winning drug used safely by millions for decades and already OTC in countries worldwide and now in states like Tennessee, Arkansas, Idaho, and Louisiana. sailed through the House 100-9 and the Senate 38-3. It was on the verge of becoming law. Then House Majority Leader Rep. Davey Hiott (R-Pickens) pulled the ultimate cowardly stunt on June 25, he moved to recommit the bill to the Agriculture Committee, burying it without debate or a real vote. Fifty-eight legislators (a mix of spineless Republicans and Democrats) went along with this petty political hit job. This isn’t about “safety.” It’s about keeping adults from making their own medical decisions and protecting the prescription racket. Ivermectin is dirt cheap, has an outstanding safety profile at proper doses, and South Carolinians should have the same access as people in freer states. Davey Hiott and every legislator who voted to kill this bill just told their constituents... “We know better than you what you can buy at the pharmacy.” Pure authoritarian nanny-state garbage. Vote these scumbags out. Medical freedom isn’t negotiable.

@SCAnnie22 @MarkLynchSC The pic of the electronic board posted at the beginning of this thread shows the vote in the SC House that killed the bill. The “Davis” on that electronic board refers to Rep. Sylleste Davis, not me.

The board says it all. Yesterday, South Carolina’s OTC ivermectin bill was sent back to committee, stopping it in its tracks. Every green “Y” is a vote to send it back. South Carolinians deserve representatives who trust citizens with their own healthcare decisions. Remember the names.

🚨 Voters in the Lowcountry are sending a clear message: Washington’s reckless debt, deficits, and out-of-control spending — and how they drive inflation into our grocery bills, gas tanks, and family budgets — actually matter. Former Governor Mark Sanford jumped into the race as a single-issue candidate on fiscal responsibility. He campaigned for barely two weeks, yet still pulled 8,101 votes — finishing 4th, ahead of sitting county councilmen, a war hero, and others who spent more time campaigning. People literally voted for him after he dropped out because they care so deeply about this issue. This isn’t name about ID. It’s substance. Our nominee must deliver a serious, deep case on debt, deficits, and inflation — not shallow talking points. If we get this right in November, we hold those voters. If we don’t, we risk handing them to Nancy Lacore who will be a formidable nominee from the Democrats. The Lowcountry is watching. Fiscal sanity isn’t optional — it’s priority #1 for far more families than Washington realizes.

@Juddlarkins The compassionate care act passed the Senate thanks to the leadership of @SenTomDavisSC - it was the House leadership that killed the bill on a technicality when it was on the 1 yard line.
