stripe is so good. as a bitcoiner it hurts to say. but stripe has been the best API i've ever worked with. lots of good lessons.

A number of years ago I made the mistake of DCA'ing Bitcoin in CashApp every week. I forgot about it and by the time I checked it had accumulated to a good size. When I wanted to withdraw to cold storage I realized I had fallen in a trap. The daily, weekly and monthly limits were so small that I was limited to $5,000 a month in withdrawals. I contacted support and they told me the only way to withdraw it all quickly was to sell it, but that would incur capital gains tax. Besides, I wanted to keep my Bitcoin. It took me five years to fully withdrawal, today was the last day! Had CashApp not increased their limits it would have taken another 7 months. Happy to see the change for existing CashApp users.
