Hard to believe 15 million Democrats evaporated. They didn’t appear in Trump’s numbers – so either 15 million Democrats chose not to vote, or something is up. I know the last thing the Democrats want to do is become the stolen-election conspiracists, but they can’t shrug it off.

Donald Trump has no greater friend than the far left, which has managed to alienate historic numbers of Latinos, Blacks, Asians, and Jews from the Democratic Party with absurdities like “Defund the Police” or “From the River to the Sea” or “Latinx.” There is more to lose than there is to gain politically from pandering to a far left that is more representative of Twitter, Twitch, and TikTok than it is of the real world. Probably the darkest election in modern history It’s not like 2016 where it felt like a freak fluke and coincided with reasons for optimism (Bernie movement etc) This is a country that’s going through a hard-right shift.

President Biden pushed through big stimulus packages and yet that didn't increase his popularity. Biden supported Lina Khan as she aggressively fought against monopoly. What would be an anti-fascist economics? Running the economy hot? Going after the concentration of wealth? At this point I wonder if any of these things would be popular.
