Addressing a multitude of exuberant supporters at Kololo Independence Grounds, Museveni expressed his gratitude to the party leaders, religious dignitaries, cultural representatives, and citizens from across the nation who gathered in a display of overwhelming support. He extended his appreciation to those who endorsed his nomination papers and praised the "resilience of the NRM family," deeming it a testament to Uganda's steady advancement.
In a speech interwoven with calls for economic transformation, Museveni underscored the necessity for all Ugandans to engage in the monetary economy as wealth creators, whether as proprietors or laborers.
