Today, we’re launching Airpost. I’m 46. That’s not a cool age to found a startup. At least according to Twitter. I still call it Twitter. I’ve loved advertising all my life. Since I was 19 and my mom told me about a movie called “Nothing in Common” with Tom Hanks where he plays an ad exec whose main job seems to be shooting hoops with his creative partner. That sounded fun. Since then, traditional advertising has stayed… traditional. From my 1st job out of college writing TV ads for Snapple and Fox Sports, to leading product marketing at Airbnb, I’ve seen a lot. Now the AI era is here and an entire $1T industry is about to change. Who will change it? Why not me? Why not us? Introducing Airpost: a platform and service where world-class creative strategists use custom-built AI to build video ads. Fast. If you’ve ever sat down to make an ad with AI and realized 20 minutes later you’re still wrestling with that same clip… that’s why we built Airpost. Growth teams are busy. They’re asked to do too many things as it is. They shouldn’t have to be AI experts as well. Creative strategists shouldn’t have to stare at a white box trying to decide what to prompt. They should have a partner. That’s what we aspire to be. And that’s what we’ve built our tech to do. AI ads shouldn’t have to mean only AI footage. We have an exclusive library of over 300,000 video clips we’ve shot ourselves. Our engine uses these, along with client footage and AI footage to make the ads we deliver each week. We’re funded by the best investors and humans we know. We bootstrapped our performance creative agency, Ready Set, to 200 people. I was always told VCs didn’t add value. If that’s true, it must be other VCs, because ours have been awesome. Thank you Zach Perret, Nate Abbott, Peter Hebert, Max Mullen and all of the firms and folks who’ve believed in us so far. We’ve gone from 0 to $1M ARR in the six months since we quietly started working with early clients like DoorDash, Dr. Squatch, Calm and more. So far, every customer has renewed. To celebrate the launch, we’re giving away a superagent where you: 1) Put in your product URL 2) Get snippets of what your real users are saying on Meta, TikTok, Reddit and X 3) Paste them into ad scripts Comment “Airpost” and I’ll DM you the private link. It feels (a little scary but) good to be out there. Here we go! 🚀

If I didn’t have multiple streams of income, id be so screwed this year due to people taking advantage of my kindness, my money, my time and my mind. Over and over and over again. I know I will be okay and in the end, as long as I have a roof over my head, food on my plate, and my health (kinda 🥲) This year has been a test and so many times, I’ve thought “maybe I shouldn’t be so nice” but…being an a$$hole just isn’t me. I will continue to give more than I take …even if I continue to get my scammed because that’s just who I am. I will learn and I will (eventually) share my stories and hopefully help others learn from my mistakes. 2026 will be abundant.

I recently spoke to a marketer who ran a $40M brand with just two designers and ONE AI process: He gave me and my team a masterclass on using AI to scale marketing and creative. He chains 7 different tools together for: ideation, image creation, video editing, and iterating based on performance. I paid him 6-figures to build these systems for my companies. Now, I’m giving them away for free. Repost + comment “GA” to get the guide in your DMs.

The best AI tools & tactics are stuck in private chats and buried Slack threads. So I'm spinning up a few WhatsApp groups for folks who are actively using AI in their day-to-day. First is an AI group for ceos/founders. Second is an AI group for engineers & engineering leaders. Third is an AI group for marketers & marketing leaders. No sales pitches. Just smart people sharing how they’re using AI to move faster, do more, and stay ahead. If you want to join one of these groups, reply with "ai" and I’ll DM you an invite.

I bootstrapped Ampush to ~$30M in annual revenue with exactly one sales rep doing pure outbound. The wild part? That rep delivered the same 14-slide deck more than 800 times, word for word. I just dug the deck out of my Dropbox. It’s almost embarrassingly simple. And it flat-out worked. Want a copy? Comment DECK below and I’ll send you the slides that took us from $0 → $20M. (make sure we’re connected)

Today is my last day at Google. When I look back on my time here, the first word that comes to mind is gratitude. I got to spend ~6 years of my career at one of the most innovative companies in the world, worked on incredible projects and with some of the smartest and most extraordinary people I've ever met. More news to come on what's next for me at a later date, but for now I'll share the note I sent to my colleagues earlier today 👇 Hi Everyone, I am leaving Google for a new role externally and I wanted to thank everyone that I've been able to work with. Working at Google has been a dream come true - I'll never forget the moment it began on a cold Ann Arbor evening in January 2019. I was walking through the center of Michigan's campus when my phone rang with a California area code. ✨ "Congratulations, we're pleased to extend an offer to you as an Associate Account Strategist" ✨ As magical as that moment was, I had no idea what I was in for. My career at Google has had many peaks and valleys, and while I could share endless stories here, I'll save that for future happy hours :). I will share a few key learnings from my time here, however: 1️⃣ Be Curious: I had the opportunity to work on amazing, high-visibility projects over the last few years because I delved into subjects I was deeply passionate and curious about. 2️⃣ Lift As You Climb: The most successful Googlers I know are people who can rally others around a shared vision and prioritize celebrating the team's wins vs their own. Liz Tverskoy, Mike Abrams, and Michael Burke are great models of this. 3️⃣ Seek Out Coaching: I have had 2 incredible managers at Google who taught me transformative career and sales skills (Looking at you, Mike and Greg). This said, don't solely rely on your manager. Find others on your team who are willing to share their expertise and build relationships with them. Bonus points if you find people who tell you what you don't want to hear, but need to (shout-out Carolina and Alex) I'll miss working with all of you tremendously, and I'll always be rooting for Google to win. As for what's next for me, I won't be going very far, and I'd love to stay in touch with all of you.

Want to reach an insanely high-qualified group of household female decision makers in the United States? A close friend of mine has an app for household management named Maple. They have 40K DAUs in the US (read: $$) and have built a few ad placements into their app..interested?
