@Wealth_Mgmt_Guy fake news - majority of boomers i know that are well off are giving to their kids now - paid family vacations , 529 funds , down pymt assistance , day care help, etc. You also ignore that most of this wealth is concentrated in the top 10-20%, most boomers are not wealthy.

Day after day after day I stare at clients gigantic account balances grow and grow and think “what are these 75-80 year olds going to do with all this damn money” My insane tax/political idea is to incentivize gifts while living to younger generations. No other way it happens

Baby boomers are sitting on at least $93 trillion in assets, per Visa. That’s more than the total held by Gen X and millennials combined.

FUN FACT: U.S. golf courses use roughly 30 times (or more, depending on the exact year and methodology) as much water as all U.S. data centers combined for direct cooling.

@cleanslaterun #4 is what was the deal breaker for me , unless you have to replace your roof at the same time you install the panels , there’s a huge cost coming your way .

I used to sell Solar panels. It's 97% a scam. You can go wake up and knock a door and make $10k in a day. The end product for most folks is basically the homeowner signing a 25 year contract that replaces their current bill. So for example: Current electric bill: $100 Solar bill : $80 So they save "$20" a month and sign a financed system over 25 years that includes interest and something called a "dealer fee" which is 20% - 30% of the total financed amount. Let's say they do save $20 a month.. #1. Most of these systems don't last after 10+ years due to manufacturer defects on the inverters. #2. Panels deteriorate in terms of production after every single year. #3. Most of the companies go bankrupt after a few years and don't service the panels leading the homeowners astray #4. If a roof needs to be replaced it will cost $10,000's + of dollars to take the panels off and to put it back on. #5. It adds little to no value to the home and causes so many issues in terms of selling the home.. #6.... Shall I go on?

You’re got 180 to the pin, a creek to hit over, wind in your face and a hotel long and left. The Pacific Ocean is on the right, and a full gallery sitting on a patio behind the green. What are you hitting? 🏌️

My wife was on FSD v14.3.5 coming home from work. At a solid green light at 59 mph, FSD slammed the brakes so hard her bags and lunch went flying off the passenger seat—lunch upside down, everything crashed onto the floor in a mess. It reacted to an ambulance approaching the cross street that had zero lights or sirens on. @elonmusk @Tesla_AI @DirtyTesLa @AIDRIVR @TesCamStudio

@Smartnetworth1 Direct primary care plus a health share membership is often a better option for *healthy* FI families, especially high income households who don’t qualify for ACA subsidies. Nothing will improve until people opt out of the legacy system en masse.

@TheOfficerTatum I was a Lifeguard for 24 years. We have a shortage of people now willing to do this work. One reason is because we are not viewed in the same way other responders are. Lot's of sacrifice for little pay.

🚨😲⛳️ #NEW — Lucas Glover has released a statement on Instagram after he removed his shoes before picking up his ball from the hole yesterday “For 23 years on the PGA Tour, I’ve worn spikes. Yesterday was the first time I’ve ever had a complaint… I wasn’t breaking any rules. My demonstration yesterday had nothing to do with Aimpoint.”

This is why I detest these roundabouts. People simply do NOT know how to use them! Instead of trying to socially engineer people's compliance to these things, just admit the experiment has been a complete failure because people will NEVER understand how to use this type of traffic intersection! Are you with me? Is it time to go back to actual lights with green, yellow and red and proper intersections?

@ScCoast you have to figure what you paid for coverage to repair and replace your car to get a better sense of $ paid out and not collected on. The liability coverage is something you’d need no matter what because of the litigious society we live in in the U.S.

@WalksWallstreet I don’t get people’s hyper fascination with “the restaurants”. Every time someone boasts about a city they cite restaurants in the first three attributes. I lived in NYC 35 years so I get it to a point, but there’s something juvenile and off putting about it.

I’ll never understand people who move from California or New York to Vegas I used to travel to Vegas for work back in the day it it just sucks Nothing to do, in the middle of the desert 🌵 and all the homes are McMansions You can’t walk anywhere and zero sense of community I honestly don’t understand how people live there The big outing on a weekend is to get in your car and drive 25 mins to a Dunkin’ Donuts drive through I need to be able to walk to great restaurants, coffee shops, museums, work etc I couldn’t imagine waking up in my desert 🏜️ cul de sac, looking out at the same 20 homes that look just like mine and getting in my car to drive 25 mins to get groceries Sorry for the rant, a good friend of mine just decided to move to Vegas from NYC and I’ve tried my best to talk him off the ledge I just don’t get it!
