سعودی عرب کے وزیر خارجہ کی وزیر اعظم سے ملاقات سعودی عرب کے وزیر خارجہ، عزت مآب شہزادہ فیصل بن فرحان نے آج شام وزیر اعظم محمد شہباز شریف سے ملاقات کی۔ وزیر اعظم کے ہمراہ نائب وزیر اعظم و وزیر خارجہ سینیٹر محمد اسحاق ڈار، قومی سلامتی کے مشیر لیفٹیننٹ جنرل محمد عاصم ملک، اور وزیر اعظم کے معاونِ خصوصی طارق فاطمی بھی موجود تھے۔ ملاقات خوشگوار اور دوستانہ ماحول میں ہوئی۔ وزیر اعظم نے سعودی وزیر خارجہ کا پرتپاک استقبال کیا اور خادم الحرمین الشریفین، شاہ سلمان بن عبدالعزیز آل سعود کے لیے اپنے پرتپاک نیک تمناؤں کا اظہار کیا، جبکہ ولی عہد و وزیر اعظم شہزادہ محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزیز آل سعود کے لیے بھی نیک خواہشات کا پیغام دیا۔ پاکستان کی جانب سے سعودی عرب کے ساتھ مکمل اور غیر متزلزل یکجہتی اور حمایت کا اعادہ کرتے ہوئے، وزیر اعظم نے موجودہ بحران کے دوران سعودی عرب کی جانب سے اختیار کردہ غیر معمولی تحمل کو سراہا اور یقین دہانی کرائی کہ پاکستان ہمیشہ سعودی عرب کے شانہ بشانہ کھڑا رہے گا۔ وزیر اعظم نے حالیہ دنوں میں ولی عہد کے ساتھ اپنی گفتگوؤں کا حوالہ دیا، جن میں 12 مارچ کو جدہ میں ہونے والی ملاقات بھی شامل ہے۔ انہوں نے سعودی وزیر خارجہ کو موجودہ بحران کے دوران پاکستان کی وسیع سفارتی کوششوں سے آگاہ کیا، جن میں کشیدگی کم کرنے اور امریکہ و ایران کو مذاکرات کی میز پر لانے کی کوششیں شامل ہیں۔ مسلم امہ میں سعودی عرب کے قائدانہ کردار پر زور دیتے ہوئے، وزیر اعظم نے اس نازک وقت میں اسلامی ممالک کے درمیان اتحاد کی ضرورت کو اجاگر کیا۔ سعودی وزیر خارجہ نے وزیر اعظم کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور انہیں خطے کی صورتحال پر سعودی عرب کے مؤقف سے آگاہ کیا۔ پاکستان اور سعودی عرب نے خطے میں امن و استحکام کے لیے اپنی مشترکہ کوششوں اور قریبی رابطے کو جاری رکھنے پر اتفاق کیا۔

Held a detailed telephone conversation with my brother President Masoud Pezeshkian of Iran earlier today, lasting over one hour. I reiterated Pakistan’s strong condemnation of the continued Israeli attacks on Iran, including recent strikes on civilian infrastructure, and conveyed Pakistan’s solidarity with the brave people of Iran. Expressed, once again, my condolences on the tragic loss of precious lives and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured and displaced. Also thanked him for his appreciation of Pakistan’s sincere efforts to advance peace and facilitate dialogue in the region.
