You don’t understand how wave elections work do you? See our “disapproval” number isn’t from the other side, it’s from our own. So it’s never indicative of our actual electoral strength. On the other hand, if the GOO is -20 and the President is -30, the means depressed turnout on that side coupled with almost doubled turnout in the other. Hence, a wave. Like 06. And ‘18. But more like ‘06. I know you weren’t alive then, but these are worse than Bush in term 2. A lot worse.

@neeratanden Except dems are even more unpopular. Trumps approval is pretty irrelevant when it’s higher than your party. No future president is ever going to get anywhere close to even 50% approval anyway. So yeah his polls are bad but again yours are worse. Says more about dems than trump.
