I had a @UPS pick up for a large item return to @amazon. UPS driver just rang the doorbell and ran away. No attempt to actually lick up the item! Had to pay for this pick up, so not happy.

I think the "more value" is an individual thing that each creator decides they will provide beyond entertainment. Not the same for everyone. But the entertainment needs to be there in some way. As a content creator you are in the entertainment business, so the same rules apply to Christian creators when it comes to best practices if there is any desire to grow.

Thought: I understand how marketing works in the drink and supplement industry, but I’m curious about your perspective on content creation. I see many “feeling” based content creators who primarily offer entertainment value. How can one go beyond that and provide more value?

@DenalidTX This is probably subjective. Either or is fine. It just depends on the goal of the creator.

@ShadelessReview I'm not sure I follow. Do you mean creators should do on-demand content to build up the audience, then start streaming once the audience is there? Or do you mean building the audience generally, then getting sponsors later?

@DenalidTX Right. I remember when I used to take that angle. It's almost like one ought to focus on building their followers/views first, then engage with streaming, with a focus on sponsorship.

@ShadelessReview Gotcha. The folks I know who are trying to make money are turning toward merch. Stickers, branded swag, etc. A few also use Throne and similar services to get non-monetary benefits. It seems like most sponsorships aren't profitable unless you have a very large audience.

Another side I see is the use of "Gossip" or "hype" moments. Beyond that, why do you watch certain streamers? What value do they bring to your life beyond entertainment?

@DenalidTX @ShadelessReview human eyes in general cannot tell the diff in 2k vs 4k. It's more for what size your screen is. I have a 32-inch 2k at 240hz monitor that is buttery smooth. 4k would just tax the GPU for no reason unless I was on a 40-50 inch TV.

What are the most optimal builds for a gaming and streaming rig? I have a 4K monitor currently. Looking to possibly multi-stream.

@ShadelessReview 9800x3D and a 5080 or a 5070 Ti 16GB. Use the built in stream elements multi-stream plugins.

I've been out of the streaming world for some time now. If one wants to play in 4k, with 100 plus frames, is it possible to stream and play on one PC, or are dual pc's still needed?

@ShadelessReview Dual PC's were never needed, it just depended how strong that one PC is, I always streamed with 1
