Wolverine and Laufey would be the best games to test out this boycott. But problem I could see with that is Sony could purposely make less physical copies of these games in order to get more people to buy digitally and then theyll count that as people wanting to buy digital. Idk what can be done smh. Maybe seeing people posting that their store is sold out might work to show demand is there for physical. Idk.

Black Ops 1 and 2 STILL would have been number one selling on PS5. It is what it is.

I think when it comes to this boycott you can't count GTA. It's one of the exceptions to the rule. Just like Pokemon even if 100% of the people who complained about how the new games are didn't buy, Pokemon would still go on to break sales records. It's the normal games that are released that need to see a drop in digital sales for Sony to even consider.

@ShadowEliteHD In order for a boycott to work everyone pre-ordering GTA or thst were planning on buying it swould cancel their preorders/plans to buy it and then they'll get the message theres only two messages codpoeatiojs understands massive losses of profits or government intervention

Man I’m so sick of logging onto social media everyday and reading the news about more people being laid off in the gaming industry.
Companies/employees could put out the most amazing game ever and still be up on the chopping block to potentially be laid off. This is not okay.

Only thing I don't like about these spin-offs or making other genres is the fact that if they become a hit there's a chance they become the replacement for the mainline games or it will take forever for a mainline game to release again because the spin-off games have to pretty much fund the mainline game.

@ShadowEliteHD I think its fine for them to make games in other genres. But it would be nice to have Disgaea 8. Demo was hilariously short though.

@seemslikefate When I played the demo I didn't think it was bad either. Guess most people feel like they are being constantly nagged or just hate hearing the same things repeated. Like "use your shield" or "heal yourself"

Was hearing the support character voices was annoying for a lot of people. Sucks for the people who already finished the game I guess.

Can we get a sequel to this? It reminded me so much of games I loved, like Ogre Battle 64 and Growlanser. This was one of the best new IPs to come out in years and I would love to see it thrive :)
