Crazy to think whoever made the disc decision at Sony just tossed the company's reputation into the shredder. I'm not talking about numbers on a graph. I'm talking about public perception and the long term impact it can have. It's not going away. They really screwed up.

For me, PlayStation’s reputation has always been around the games. My favorite memories with PlayStation don’t revolve around a disc; they revolve around playing great games. I will still enjoy PlayStation, so long as the games are there, regardless of how I’m able to buy them. If they can find ways to make their digital purchasing landscape more appealing, their reputation will be fine. Granted, PlayStation’s first party output hasn’t been the greatest this gen, and I hope going forward they’re finding ways to resolve that issue.
