@MoreOrLessAMess Every year in my elementary school we did "silhouette tracing" in arts & crafts... it's a basic term in fashion, comes up all the time in detective/mystery fiction, incredibly common word.

Thinking of the last two books I read in a single day, one was Piranesi by Suzanne Collins, simple & entertaining sci-fi/fantasy concepts, not much meat on the bone, like a long Twilight Zone episode. The other was Grendel by John Gardner which was like a life-changing DMT trip.

i think everyone is overestimating how long it takes to read a book. some books do be long but your average book takes like 3-5 hours in total.
