@frazerrice @EricBalchunas So if it’s 6.3& benchmark is 6 it means it is slightly better than benchmark. Our research has this for many funds so you can see how much better vs others and get a sense of range. Improvement is imp! We can track the scores over time as it evolves but that’s a version 2 maybe

@Shaheen_SC @EricBalchunas Right, but if you look at a company and it has a score of 6.35, what does that mean in isolation? If it's truly relative, shouldn't we be looking at improvement rates rather than a static number to measure actual change? (Rockefeller does this)

Here's the top 20 holdings of $ESGU (the largest ESG ETF on the planet). Can you spot the difference bt this and the S&P 500? Me neither. So unless I'm missing something, if this doesn't violate the SEC's ESG label criteria, then nothing should.

@frazerrice @EricBalchunas It’s all relative. I like the rule of thumb to be a comparable benchmark. Eg the esg fund is x% better than the non esg benchmark. (Like s&p 500 esg fund vs s&p 500)

@EricBalchunas @Shaheen_SC Cool metric . . . Is there a rule of thumb on qualitatives or descriptors that line up to the scores? I.e. G is "good" if it is >7? E is "bad" if it is <5?
