@choffstein As a baseball fan I would always respond with “why so we can lose in the playoffs ever year to a team that outspends us 8-1”. FYI I’m pro analytics in baseball just need $ for a roster as moneyball exlpoits LT inefficiencies over a season that can be blunted in a short playoff

the worst part about the movie moneyball was that for a full year afterwards the marketing department for every equity firm was like, “totally original idea: let’s call what we do 'moneyball for stocks’!"

@choffstein Don’t buy a high chair. Just buy a high chair seat and put it on a regular chair. Saves ya like $150 bucks. Only advice I ever give on parenting.

Started to get concerned I was going deaf in my left ear because I can always hear my cell phone like 10x better in my right ear than my left. Turns out I was just holding the phone at a weird angle when it was in my left hand 🤦‍♂️
