With humility Edith Mufumbiro made humble request in court saying "...your honor I can't live without my husband...I have cancer, the medication I take every week is too expensive and I can't afford it wen my husband is in cells... the state Attorney then said give us time we look into these medical papers they might be from Nasser road... Later the bail was denied ofcourse. Now that she is dead, I hope the state prosecutor is happy and sleeps better tonight 😒💔🚮

The ticking of the societal clock is loud. This is why a 30-year-old woman could feel like she is running out of time while everyone else is moving forward. I have seen many brothers suggesting beautiful duas for you in the CS. It is beautiful. However, I am of the opinion that handing you a prayer without diagnosing what is happening on the ground is like taking medicine without knowing the ailment. Targeted prayers work better because they force you to confront the root of the delay. I am compelled to ask: What is the reality of your situation right now? 1. Maybe the pipeline is completely dry and men are not approaching you at all. If no one is knocking on the door, your prayer needs to be about opening new pathways and bringing righteous people into your orbit. For this, the dua of Prophet Musa is profound. He was a fugitive, homeless and alone, and he sat under a tree and said: رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ. "My Lord, I am in dire need of whatever good You send down to me." Allah answered him with safety, a job, and a wife by the end of the day. Make this dua your anthem. In this vein, you also have to tie your camel. This will help balance your Tawakul. Are you visible? Have you told trusted friends, community leaders, or family that you are actively searching? You cannot stay hidden in your room and expect a spouse to fall through the ceiling. You have to be deliberate about it too. 2. Or maybe the opposite is happening. Suitors are coming, but you keep turning them down. If you are rejecting good men because they do not fit a rigid picture in your head, the bottleneck is not a lack of options. It is your checklist. In this case, your prayer needs to shift toward asking Allah for clarity and to soften your heart. You want to ask Him to help you differentiate between non-negotiable religious values and superficial preferences. A beautiful dua from the Quran for this is: رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ. "Our Lord, grant us from among our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes." Let go of the fantasy and ask Allah to bring someone who brings peace to your soul. 3. Maybe you might be dealing with internal walls. Past heartbreak, fear of making the wrong choice, or subconscious anxiety can make you pull away when things get serious. If you are unintentionally self-sabotaging out of fear, your primary prayer should be for healing and emotional readiness. You can turn to this powerful Prophetic dua: يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ، أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ. "O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, in Your mercy I seek relief. Rectify for me all my affairs." I want you to take a quiet moment to audit where the delay is stemming from. Once you figure out what the roadblock is, raise your hands, use the right words, and ask Allah to fix that specific problem. He hears the nuance in your heart. May Allah provide a righteous husband for you. Amin.

Quick fact about Emergency pills. Textbooks won’t tell you this, but if you take a pill during ovulation, even if it’s immediately after sex, the effectiveness is 0%. This is from experience.!
Dr. Katumwa Kenneth 🇺🇬@dr_katumwa

📌8 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE USING THE EMERGENCY PILL (Postinor, Lydia Pill, P2, etc…) 👇 The pill is widely used and generally safe, but it has several disadvantages and limitations: 1. Reduced effectiveness with time: It works best within 24 hours after unprotected sex. Effectiveness declines significantly after this. 2. Not 100% effective: Pregnancy can still occur if ovulation has already happened. 3. Menstrual disturbances: It may cause temporary changes such as: Early or delayed next period, Heavier or lighter bleeding and Spotting between periods. 4. Hormonal side effects: Nausea or vomiting, Headache, Breast tenderness, Dizziness, Fatigue. 5. Less effective in higher body weight ⚖️: it is less effective in fatter women, and they will need to double the dose. 6. No protection against STIs: It does not prevent STIs such as HIV/AIDS or Gonorrhea. 7. It is only meant for emergencies, not routine birth control. Frequent use can cause irregular cycles and hormonal disturbances. 8. If vomiting happens within about 2 hours after taking the pill, the dose may not have been absorbed and will need repeating the pill. 📌📌📌Find out its advantages and special benefits real quick from our chat bot MYKA at 👉findmymethod.org

I woke up to fear doctors (witches? ) at the MoH insisting on deploying intern doctors to treat Ugandans for a full year without pay. These very people were well paid well during their own internships after medical school. Now they want to modernize slavery and exploitation.

An Open Letter to the Hon. Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng, Minister of Health, Uganda: Hon. Minister, I write with concern regarding the proposal to extend medical training to six years by introducing a one-year volunteer internship that is unpaid, yet required for graduation. This proposal risks institutionalizing exploitation of young doctors. Medical students already spend five demanding years in training, often supported by families who sacrifice greatly. Expecting them to work a full year in hospitals without pay while delivering essential medical services is unfair and devalues their work. We all know that intern doctors are the backbone of many hospitals in Uganda. They run emergency rooms at night, review patients, admit cases, and keep wards functioning. If their work is critical enough to keep hospitals running, how can it suddenly be considered “volunteer work”? There is also a serious question of status and responsibility. If these interns have not yet graduated, how are they expected to take over clinical work in hospitals? Who carries the legal responsibility for their decisions? The system risks placing patients in the hands of individuals who are still technically students. Furthermore, unpaid work creates pressure to survive. When someone works full time with no income, they will inevitably look for other ways to live. This opens the door to exploitation, informal charges, burnout, and compromised focus on patient care. Ultimately, patients will suffer the consequences. Instead of unpaid internship, the focus should be on improving internship conditions, expanding training slots, and ensuring fair remuneration for young doctors who are already serving the nation. Uganda’s health system needs motivated doctors, not policies that demoralize them before their careers even begin. Yours, ALTON.

Amon Nkwasiibwe, president of the Federation of Uganda Medical Students' Associations (FUMSA), has urged the government to preserve the traditional structure of medical education by allowing students to graduate after completing the standard five-year MBChB program, rather than implementing the proposed new policy that would delay graduation until after a mandatory one-year internship—effectively extending the timeline to six years. #MonitorUpdates 📹Tonny Abet

Uganda cannot afford to turn medical education into an elite pathway accessible only to those with significant financial resources. The country’s health system relies on talented students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. We reject the proposed internship policy changes.

But @MinofHealthUG has misplaced priorities Medical interns are the back bone of our healthcare system carrying entire hospitals. You can’t have them paying the price of poor planing. With gaps in staffing of public hospitals you can’t punish those that do the work.🤦🏿‍♀️
