No clue what Scottie was thinking here or why he responded this way beyond general disdain of media, but I've decided people's reactions to this are a great way to judge them. If you're mad about a reporter asking a simple, common question that players themselves talk about all the time (how good or bad their score could have been based on their assessment of their play), and sometimes generates an interesting observation or two, you're an idiot. Looking for the grievance weirdos going "CLICKBAIT QUESTION GOOD FOR SCOTTIE" to find the dimwits.

@ryanmouquegolf I think Rory’s best single round is better than Scottie’s best single round. But that’s why Scottie is the best, he doesn’t do it for just 1 round.

One of Rory’s superpowers is how well he uses the ground. A lot of amateurs get in trouble because they think they should just shift their weight in the backswing to the trail leg and then get stuck there. Many of the best players in the world start transferring their pressure back into the lead side before they finish the backswing. When you apply these ground forces early you now have more time to apply force and velocity out to the club head.

Still carry the burden of the world knowing that you have a problem, a problem that you have been trying to keep secret. He’ll still battle his demons.
