As Birol put it, “This crisis, as things stand, is now two oil crises and one gas crash put all together.” In other words, this energy crisis is no longer about what may happen, which is terrible indeed if it comes to pass, but it is also about what has already begun. ✍️@Shardool_ newslaundry.com/2026/03/26/as-…

LPG shortages are pushing households back to chulhas. That means more indoor smoke, more air pollution & a clear step backwards for public health & clean energy progress. We cannot fight air pollution while forcing people back to burning wood and biomass! @PMOIndia @HardeepSPuri

This post is mostly dedicated for the American people, something you won’t hear from your media outlets, I’m gonna do my best to recall as much as I can. ⚡️Civilian Infrastructure Bombed in Iran Since the Start of the U.S.–Israeli War according to Iranian officials, humanitarian organizations, and international monitoring groups: According to statements presented by Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations, the attacks have resulted in at least 1,332 civilian killings and thousands of injuries. Data released by the Iranian Red Crescent Society and cited in multiple reports indicate that more than 6,668 civilian facilities and units have been damaged or destroyed in strikes across Iran. Below is a breakdown of the types of civilian infrastructure that Iranian authorities say have been targeted or damaged: ⚡️Residential buildings Iranian emergency services report that 5,535 residential units have been damaged or destroyed in airstrikes across multiple cities. Entire apartment blocks and housing complexes were reportedly struck in urban areas, including Tehran and other major cities, leaving large numbers of civilians displaced. ⚡️Commercial buildings Iranian relief organizations report that 1,041 commercial buildings and business facilities have been damaged. These include: •shops and markets •office buildings •small business facilities •commercial complexes ⚡️Schools Iranian authorities say at least 65 schools across the country have been damaged or destroyed by airstrikes. PM Modi is not usually a quiet man when global events present dramatic material. When a crisis erupts anywhere in the world, Mr Modi typically appears with a carefully crafted response Which makes the present quiet much more puzzling. ✍️ @Shardool_ newslaundry.com/2026/03/06/it-…
