@quentin_vinet I think UBB win easy, I hope not but I feel Leinster defence will be picked apart. I really just hope for a close game with no cards 🤞🤞🤞

Le Leinster aligne ni plus ni moins l’équipe d’Irlande pour la finale contre Bordeaux, sur le terrain comme sur le banc + Rieko Ioane. Il faudra assumer, demain, s’ils perdent une cinquième finale consécutive…

Who is the ultimate ‘What if’ player in rugby history? Someone who was incredible talented, but didn’t live up to their potential because of injuries…

@jimmyfine89 @TightFive_Rugby Wouldn’t have kept his place on that tour if Ferris was not injured imo. Croft was a cracking player but Ferris was a level above. Opinions vary though.

@TightFive_Rugby Tom Croft. Was a standout player in the 2009 Lions team against the Bok world champions. Could’ve been an England great if not for injuries. Had it all, skill, pace, power, great in the loose and lineout

@TheLooseH In fairness, easy with the love. This is something you’re taught at 14/15 yrs of age. If you are not doing it you’re not good . Cracking player but commend him for all the real good stuff he does

Love this from Boyle, too. Obviously the dummy runner, but has hands up looking as if he’s going to take a pass. Keeps that internal defender honest.

Apparently Leinster are facing a severe shortage of loosehead props for their next few fames Not sure if any Irish people know this, but Josh van der Flier played loosehead prop in Primary school when he grew up in South Africa ❤️

The Champions Cup Last 16 is shaping up to be a bit of a non-event again. Just look at the handicaps this weekend: Leinster -23 Bordeaux -26 Toulouse -27 Northampton -21 Bath -14 Glasgow -15 Toulon -10 Harlequins -5 Most of them sitting in the 20s. That’s not knockout rugby, that’s a mismatch. Only one game looks properly tight. And we saw this last year too — the average winning margin in the Round of 16 was 21 points. Even more telling, the only away team that won was Munster Rugby going to La Rochelle. So yeah, we might get one shock this weekend. But that’s about it. It just feels like a filler round before the quarter-finals. Honestly think you’d be far better off going straight to a top 8 and doing home and away quarter-finals. More quality, more edge, less dead games. Right now we’re basically waiting a week for it to get serious.

How is it that some Americans such as Ryan Reynolds, Ryan Gosling, John Candy (RIP), William Shatner, Pamela Anderson, Keanu Reeves, Michael J Fox, Sir Frederick Banting and many hundreds of others can be so wonderfully awesome, funny, warm and kind hearted and then there's Trump

@I_amMukhtar Just shows the absolute disdain the Irish people hold towards the invaders that something as petty as .60c could cause this reaction. And he’s of the older generation - prob not even 5% as radical the youth is. Scary time to be non White.

He racially abused a taxi driver over €0.60. I've just looked at Transport for Ireland's website, and it says that the initial charge on Sunday is €5.40.

@TheLooseH If you put meters gained beside those carry numbers it is less impressive would say close to 104 carries for 104 meters and 96 carries for 96 meters. Great workhorse but 🤔🤔🤔

Didn’t someone on some podcast somewhere question why Ireland gave Stander so many minutes? Did he say something like they shouldn’t have? Didn’t he say they should have played someone else instead of him? Even though Stander in his prime was producing these kind of games? 🤷‍♂️
Caolán Scully@Caolan_Scully

We don’t appreciate just how vital and dominant CJ Stander was in his prime His 2016/17 season was proper leading through action for club and country

@AllThingsRugbyX Have you lost the plot? Jones over McCloskey? Youve made every other choice questionable because of that one. A guy who played decently twice v a guy who was MOTM levels for 5 games.

The 2026 Men’s Six Nations Team of the Tournament is stacked with standout performers who lit up the competition. Rhys Carr was one of Wales’ biggest bright sparks, delivering huge performances throughout the campaign and showing why he’s becoming such an important figure for his side. Ben Earl was outstanding for England, consistently leading from the front and producing world-class performances even as England struggled to find consistency. Italy’s Tommaso Menoncello continued the incredible form we’ve come to expect, once again proving why he is one of the most exciting midfielders in world rugby. Out wide, France’s Louis Bielle-Biarrey finished as the tournament’s top try scorer, while teammate Thomas Ramos topped the points-scoring charts, playing a key role in France’s success. A tournament filled with incredible individual performances. Which player impressed you the most this Six Nations? #GuinnessM6N

@LD151 Spend money developing your own talent! Josh Neill may have distant Irish ancestry but there is no way he can ‘feel’ Irish. It’s a project and should have no place in International sport

40 years ago, our Club President Paul Thorburn stepped up and made history with a 64m penalty for Wales against Scotland - the longest successful penalty kick in international rugby 🦵🏉 Four decades on, it remains an iconic moment in rugby 🙌🖤 #windbackwednesday #uppaseahorse

@CianTracey1 New law required. If a player goes up one handed to “ knock a ball back “ and it goes forward it should be penalty against. Will reduce the kicking as reduces the 50/50 aspect

Will we see more of this kind of thing if you're a team with a dominant scrum? Doesn't look like a genuine attempt to catch ball. Scotland scrum in own 22, England win penalty against the head, kick for corner, Scotland force turnover. Loophole in the law perhaps. One to watch.
