It's so sad. I told my husband earlier this morning that it makes me sick to think that there are Americans out there that hate our country so much they would destroy a reflecting pool just to see Trump fell. The reflecting pool was for all Americans to enjoy. I hope they catch you whoever's responsible.

When Obama and Biden were presidents, I didn't agree with many of their policies. I was upset when Obamacare passed. I was angry when Biden enacted so many executive orders in the first 100 days to cancel policies that I supported. Oh... and so much more. But NEVER ONCE did I cheer for the failure of anything. I knew many of their policies were wrong, but I never hoped that our country would not succeed or that their presidencies would fail. The people desecrating the Reflecting Pool are not only cheering for our country's demise, they are actively promoting it. This goes beyond TDS. They are truly mentally ill people. I hope they are incarcerated for a VERY long time.

You are fixated on trivial things and causing drama. The east wing is being renovated. Democrat presidents have renovated the White House more than any other party. Get over it if someone not of your political persuasion renovates. There of MILLIONS of us who approve. We’ve had to endure statues defaced and destroyed. Rainbow crosswalks and BLM everywhere. We’ve seen our beloved military posts renamed and trigger warnings on the Declaration of Independence. Murals of a murdered white woman are painted over. Homeless drug addict zombies roam the streets in filth and horrific squalor. We’ve put up with A LOT, so let us enjoy our renovations, sporting events, and beatification endeavors on our beloved relics. You and your elk don’t get to control everyone. So chill out. You’re over reacting.

The Capitol grounds and building. The East wing of the WH. The Rose Garden. The South Lawn. The reflecting pool between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. There is, it seems, no limit to what part of our most precious national public spaces Trump will deface.

@KatMis44 @TomHoefling Building a tacky patio A la Mara Largo destroyed the essence of the rose garden. The big beautiful ballroom has destroyed the historic East wing and the UFC event damaged the South Lawn. The pool issue was due to faulty work by the contractors, not vandals.

The UFC match was a fun and entertaining venue for millions. And destroying the reflecting pool liner is a criminal act. There, hope that helps.

Most people don't usually walk up to others & start talking this way without being provoked into it.
