The First Amendment protects Americans from GOVERNMENTAL restrictions on speech. Private companies cannot violate the First Amendment, but you also don't have to do business with them if you don't like their policies.
#MoLeg is creating a lot of omnibus bills that contain hundreds of pages of language that isn't available to the public at this time. This is not open and transparent government.
For those of you who think I am wrong in wanting the legislature to have hearings open to the public or not at all... today's approps hearing feed cut off after less than 5 minutes.
I know everything is scary, but we have to protect our systems and not give up rights in favor of temporary security. We should prepare to vote by mail this fall!
