This country is in a critical situation with several strong forces allied to cause chaos and break down this country. They have to be met with strength. No one has been able or willing to do that until this President. He needs to be able to pass bills and stabilize the country. I support a president like that anyway I can. If personal power is more important than the good of the country, they should be voted out.

Yes they do change. Prior to Trump an elected official on the Republican side was allowed to speak their mind and actually think for themselves instead of being a bunch of mindless rubber stamping goons. This is no different than how Nancy Pelosi acted as speaker. Force your vote or she will force you out. We all thought that wasn’t right back then. The whole disloyalty thing is getting really old to those of us who think. This isn’t supposed to be North Korea.

It does matter but what also matters in the character of a senator, is that he represents his people and the safety and good of his people. He ignored the polling that 87% of his people wanted the Save America Act and did not fight for it. He also blocked bills/budgets that were very important to President Trump while he is working very hard for this country. So NO to Senator Cornyn. He does not care about his constituents/the American people and that is his job.

If he had not blocked some key bills/budgets that were very important to President Trump or if he had fought for the Save America Act which was wanted by 87% of his constituents, I would have voted for him. When you have a President that works as hard as President Trump to help the country, you assist him in every way as a senator. If you don’t, hopefully you get voted out so someone will come in that will back him.

Anyone who knows the facts as opposed to the social media misinformation rants, knows @JohnCornyn has served Texas and our Country well. This thoughtful and humble man has done his job with character and honor. He’s highly respected in the halls of Congress. We need more John Cornyn’s versus what we see from many just seeking sound bites so they can raise money (including personal net worth ) and increase their profile.
