To the individual who reported my vehicle while it was parked in a disabled parking space at Target, I am genuinely trying to understand the reason for such an immediate response.I was away from the vehicle for only a few minutes. I went inside briefly to pick up an item and returned almost immediately, only to find that my car was already being loaded onto a tow truck.What is most frustrating is how quickly the situation escalated. I was not parked there for an extended period, nor was I occupying the space for any significant length of time. It was a very brief stop, yet that was apparently enough for someone to report it. As a result, I am now dealing with towing fees, the inconvenience of recovering my vehicle, and a great deal of unnecessary stress over something that seems to have been handled far more aggressively than the circumstances is difficult not to feel that the response was excessive given how brief the situation actually was.

There's a problem with nursing homes in America. If you're on social security and you own land and a home you lose it once you are in a nursing home unless someone else's name is also on the deed. This is robbery by the government. We pay enough taxes to be taken care of in the nursing home without our family losing everything we worked for for generations. So if you are elderly and looking at assisted living or nursing homes please get someone else's name on that deed before there's no land left for our grandkids.

@apeek137035 @BadgedPatriot They can still put a lien on the house if another person's name is on it. Best to put the house into an IRREVOCABLE TRUST at least 5 years before this might happen. (Not legal advice, just my experience)

@B33ds89 @apeek137035 A revocable trust doesn’t protect it. It has to be an irrevocable trust and transferred at least five years prior. And even then there are caveats to irrevocable trusts.

@apeek137035 Your family doesn’t lose it you just can’t own it, which means you give it to them or you create a family trust and put your children at the head of it and place the house in it. The trust owns the property and now you’re broke enough for the nursing home.
