@Gallup Is it possible to know which country has the highest rate of concern in each category?
English

Work-related issues rank second among the most common national concerns worldwide. A median of 10% of adults name work, including unemployment and job quality, as their top issue.

@FINALLEVEL please tell Schoolly that Columbus loves him, we hope he is doing very well, and maybe we see him another time. Pumped for tonight!!!

@Brian_Cronin @csbg @CBR Hmm, like you point out, I'm not sure this really clears the bar of being a retcon, since it's still compatible with the original take. But I love this line of inquiry, and I'll let you know if I encounter any other candidates!

In a brand-new When We First Met for @csbg at @cbr, I look at when Marvel first did an active retcon to explain its sliding timescale.

@Brian_Cronin Bendis Avengers volumes ended at 34, and Nicieza's Thunderbolts run started with a 34

@Brian_Cronin I figured a good starting guess would be a red kryptonite story, which I remember had a different effect pretty much every time it was used, but I haven't been able to find a single one yet where it turns him evil. Maybe I'm just conflating that memory with Superman 3/Smallville
English

@Shaun2oo3 I don't believe I ever covered that, no. I'll see what I can see!
English

@Brian_Cronin do you know offhand what is the earliest story in which Superman goes evil? I thought I remembered a CBLR (or maybe another series) entry like that, but wasn't able to find one

@DimeDropperPod WW2 era, won 5 straight MVPs and 2 chips with Ft Wayne Pistons. Belongs in the conversion for greatest shooter of all time
English

@Brian_Cronin Imagine if early sportswriting or movie reviews in old newspapers had simply disappeared after a couple decades going unread. The loss to our ability today to reconstruct those eras would be incalculable. Internet archive will be an incredible boon to future historians

@DimeDropperPod R Jeff & Channing Frye, Quentin Richardson & Darius Miles, Shaq, Barkley

A year of great TV episodes continues at @poprefs with Seinfeld's "The Deal," where the show really put it all together.

@ash4nd1021 @nmzhoops I'll give it to the Warriors, but honorable mention for the Pistons, who go all the way back to the NBL in 1942, where they won multiple titles before the merger
English

@Brian_Cronin I think anyone who draws Superman is a Superman artist. But if the broader question is whether Jimmy Olsen is a Superman feature, I say yes both because Superman always appears, and because his name is in the title. If Olsen left that shadow occasionally, maybe different story

@Brian_Cronin @poprefs Ambitious series! But if anyone can pull it off...

A year of great TV episodes begins at @poprefs with Gunsmoke's brilliant "The Cabin."

@PeterVecsey1 One encouraging thing during the Nuggets run last year was that broadcasters often acknowledged the ABA years when referencing their drought. I hope the Pacer org is equally ready to claim success...

@abathrowbacks He's unique for many reasons. My favorite being that he's the only player to lead his team to a title even after losing their best player to injury. This fact is even more fun after you learn how legendarily combative he was. Hardly the normal type to inspire a togetherness rally
