@IMAO_ You’re a Trump supporter. Your opinion about quite literally anything matters not.

It's just an objective fact now The Last Jedi killed Star Wars by being bad Star Wars. I don't get the point of arguing it any further.

@Jason88164351 @TheStarWarsOG By your “no exceptions” logic, it was out of character for Vader to come back to the light after being a Sith for so long.

@Jason88164351 @TheStarWarsOG It turned out to not be a might because we literally saw it come to pass. I’M being defensive? You’re the one hurling insults and covering your eyes and ears going “Lalalala, not canon, lalala true fans hate this, lalala” while I’m just telling you what happened in the movies.

@TheStarWarsOG @Jason88164351 Explain how it’s not comparable. Both involve Luke being set off by possible futures, only with Ben it was more than just a taunt, it was a vision of what would happen, of what we SAW happen. Luke learned from ROTJ, but that doesn’t mean he could never ever fuck up again.

@ShaunFord92 @Jason88164351 ROTJ Throne room scene is not the same, not comparable. Even when Vader used Leia to manipulate. Even then, he learned from it.

@Jason88164351 @TheStarWarsOG Yes, Vader only threatened to turn Leia to the Dark Side and it set Luke off. With Ben, he saw a future in which Ben brought “the end of everything [he] loved,” which is objectively worse, and was tempted again, but also stopped himself again, just a moment too late.

@TheStarWarsOG @Jason88164351 He was hiding and refused to fight until he was taunted into attacking. It’s almost the exact same scenario. With Ben, he saw what was going to happen despite his efforts to nip it in the bud and he momentarily panicked. Given what Kylo did in TFA, Luke was right to be scared.

@ShaunFord92 @Jason88164351 That is completely different scenario. He is facing the enemies, a duel, being met with manipulation to turn him. Even here, he learned from it

@TheStarWarsOG @Jason88164351 If it had nothing to do with Luke, why would Ben not have left before that night in the hut? Jeez, it’s like you guys don’t know how to watch a movie.

@ShaunFord92 @Jason88164351 Not assumption - but fact due to the OT. Also, it was not Luke's fault - ben chose to turn with help by Snoke.

@Jason88164351 @TheStarWarsOG If there was no influence from Luke, why didn’t Ben leave before Luke drew his saber on him? And if it doesn’t matter, why are you even talking to me?

@ShaunFord92 @TheStarWarsOG It's not an assumption you dumbass. It's a fact FIRMLY established as far as the OT. And sorry but once again you're 100% WRONG. Kylo willingly CHOSE to turn. No influence from Luke. Not that it matters because true fans can tell you Han and Leia never had a son named Ben

@Jason88164351 @TheStarWarsOG And you can’t say Luke would never react that way because we’ve seen him react that way. I don’t care if you think he leveled up like a video game character. What makes the Dark Side so dangerous is that resisting its pull is a lifelong battle, not a one-and-done thing.

@Jason88164351 @TheStarWarsOG “By this point Luke had the wisdom and experience to try and guide the individual back to the light.” That’s what everyone assumed. It’s why, as I said, Ben was sent to train with Luke to begin with. But the training didn’t work. That was the point. This isn’t hard.

@Jason88164351 @TheStarWarsOG By the same token, what do you expect Luke to have said to Han and Leia? “Hey, guys. You know how you wanted me to train your son specifically to keep him from turning to the Dark Side? Turns out I’m the reason he turned to the Dark Side. My bad.”?

@Jason88164351 @TheStarWarsOG Luke didn’t cause Anakin’s fall. Totally different situation. What could Luke have possibly said that’d have been worth ANYTHING to Ben? “Hey, I know you think I tried to kill you and all, but that’s only because I had a vision of you becoming a monster. So, we’re cool, right?”

@TheStarWarsOG @Jason88164351 No, he went to check on him and saw that things were worse than he thought they were. This is in the movie. Did you not watch it?
