Since 2020, the cost of building a new home has risen by £76,000. That £76,000 is paid by first time buyers. Paid by people trying to move up in life. No wonder the housing market is stagnating. The Conservatives will get it moving again, reducing energy costs, cutting red tape and scrapping stamp duty altogether.
