@ShawnNeedsTweet @Oil_Drop Although I would like to see them move on from Nurse, throwing good money at bad money can be even more detrimental. Everyone wants them to trade Nurse, Jarry, Janmark, Fredrick and Walman, but the cost to move most/all of them would likely set this team back a decade

@Stevenbradleyb @KevinMcCurdy Jones was not good. Him and nurse have very similar TOI and points. Jones gets PP1 and that was the difference. Both are not good players

@lagging3k @Oil_Drop need to clear the space and upgrade. There were multple goalies that were on waiver last year at the start of the season that are league min and would provide more upside then Jarry. Dipietro came first to mind for me.

@ShawnNeedsTweet @Oil_Drop If you trade Jarry now, it will look a lot like the Eberle > Strome > Spooner trade tree. Trading for Jarry was a mistake. Trading him away right now would be another.

@ShawnNeedsTweet @Oil_Drop I think it would be dumb to move Jarry at this point. They clearly saw enough in him a mere few months ago to move real assets for him and it would cost them as much or more to move him now. He looked fine before he got hurt. They should give him a bit more runway.

@alykhan_n @KevinMcCurdy Issue is Murphy is free and the oil dont have alot of assest to trade. and they need to use those assest to trade for a No1 goalie or legit top 6 winger

@KevinMcCurdy @ShawnNeedsTweet I’m not sure Murphy is worth the money honestly. I’d rather go get a guy like Parayko. We have some good offensive prospects but not great defensive ones. This is close to what I have, post coming about it sometime this week. I think 4.9 is rich for Murph, and I think you see Ekholm down on the second pairing after this year. If you can keep Walman healthy, bump him to the top pairing and then you need a cheap 3RD and that's in better shape.

@KevinMcCurdy All for less for Murphy. I think it'll be below $5M but could see him wanting a small rasie from his current $4.4M. And anything 3 years or less is the goal with him. I dont mind a 96-2 and a 14-5 pairings, offence and shut down pairs
