Sanders: Why is the whole country looking at this election? In fact, people all over the world are watching what’s going on here in Michigan.
And the answer is that this is an election that will show the nation whether AIPAC and other billionaire-funded super PACs can spend tens and tens and tens of millions of dollars to buy a U.S. Senate seat, or whether, within a corrupt campaign finance system, the voices of ordinary Americans—the people of Michigan—can prevail.
That is what this campaign is all about. It is about democracy versus oligarchy, and we are on the side of democracy.

@sentdefender The US and Jordan 🇯🇴 need to strike back tonight as hard as feasible against military targets in Northern Iran.

According to reporting by The New York Times, Jordan has rapidly emerged as a new focal point in the U.S.-Iran conflict, with U.S. officials saying Iranian forces have attacked American troops there four times in the past five days including last night's attacks that killed two U.S. service members, left another missing, wounded dozens more, and damaged multiple helicopters.
U.S. officials told the Times the pace and effectiveness of the strikes suggest Iran not only retains substantial missile inventories, but is becoming increasingly effective at penetrating U.S. and allied air defenses.
The Times also reports that Jordan's strategic importance has grown significantly as the U.S. shifted forces there from Bahrain, Qatar, and the UAE ahead of the conflict, while some regional partners have placed greater restrictions on U.S. military operations from their territory. According to U.S. officials, Jordan has become one of Washington's most important operating hubs in the region.

PURE EVIL Stephen Miller’s worldview in one video clip. "I think the ideal solution would be to cut off their fingers. I don't think it's necessary to kill them entirely. We're not a barbaric people. We respect life. Therefore, torture is the way to go. Because tortured people can live. Torture is a celebration of life and human dignity."

MAGA policies and MAGAt billionaire donors are literally making America sick.
Meet MAGAt Bruce Taylor, the billionaire founder and CEO of Taylor Farms—North America’s largest fresh-cut produce empire. While Taylor Farms built a $7 billion footprint supplying major grocery chains like Walmart and fast-food giants like Taco Bell, its parent company quietly fueled Donald Trump's political machine with a massive $1 million donation to a Trump-aligned MAGA Inc. hybrid PAC. In a move critics label as political payback, the Trump administration's FDA delayed critical Food Traceability Rule guardrails in 2025, which directly weakened the government's ability to track contaminated food from the field to the plate right before Taylor Farms was hit with a massive crisis.
Now, federal investigators have officially traced the worst Cyclospora parasite outbreak in U.S. history directly back to Taylor Farms' shredded iceberg lettuce. Because the administration rolled back these crucial safety laws and scaled back mandatory pathogen monitoring, tainted produce easily slipped through the system, resulting in 1,644 confirmed poisonings and 94 hospitalizations across Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia. While zero deaths have been reported so far, public health officials warn the rolled-back tracking laws have made it much harder to contain the spread, leading to an urgent product recall spanning 27 states. Corporate greed meets political favors, and regular Americans pay the price with explosive illness.

I think time we let hurt and even forgiveness be a governing factor in remembering what grace is. Grace is extended when it leads to salvation. Grace can’t be extended when we are still covered in Sin. We have to give it all to Him and never look back. Today choose to live by His grace. ~ Log Home Mom
Matthew 18
From debt to grace
The poor wretch threw himself at the king’s feet and begged, ‘Give me a chance and I’ll pay it all back.’ Touched by his plea, the king let him off, erasing the debt. (MSG)
This has been a year of financial blessings. Not only has the prayer community I belong to received a surprisingly large donation, but I also came into an inheritance. While these shifts in our financial circumstances are very welcome, they’ve made me realise how much of my thinking around money is governed by the fear of not having enough. I now have to keep reminding myself that, for the time being at least, we have more than we need.
In today’s reading, Jesus uses the familiar metaphor of money to talk about grace. There’s a servant who’s living the constant grind of being in debt, and there’s a king who has immense wealth. When they come face-to-face, the encounter turns out to be rather surprising. The servant asks for more time, whereas the king gives him a complete reprieve. In one fell swoop, he goes from debt to abundance.
I sometimes wonder if that servant had the same problem as I’ve had lately. Despite having moved to that place of abundance, he treated his fellow servant as though the failure to repay his debt was going to bankrupt him. It’s as though he had chosen not to switch his brain from debt mode to ‘I have more than I need’ mode.
We are no longer in debt to God. Every wrong we have ever done is forgiven in Jesus. Yet we so often live as though we haven’t done enough – as though we still need to earn his approval. One of the consequences of this debt mentality is that we find it harder to be gracious towards others who get things wrong. When we live out of abundance – knowing that we are deeply loved and richly provided for – then it becomes much easier to extend grace towards others.
