Seven people a day are dying in BC from drug overdoses. The so-called “safe supply” policies of the Liberal-NDP coalition are deadly and fuelling the opioid crisis. Addicts need rehab, access to treatment beds and a path to a drug-free life. There is no time to wait, we need a common sense plan that will save lives!

Eight days ago, shots were fired in broad daylight at a home near 170 Street and 32 Avenue in Surrey, and a young worker was struck in the face by a bullet. More than a week has passed, yet the bullet lodged near his nose and jaw still hasn’t been removed. Instead of receiving timely treatment, he was discharged from the hospital and sent on a stressful loop of medical appointments. Along with the psychological trauma, he continues to suffer intense physical pain. Last night’s launch reception for the Conservative Electors Association was electric. 100+ people packed the room and the energy was unmistakable. Our Chair, Kerry-Lynne Findlay, delivered a powerful keynote that lit up the crowd, and Elaine Allan guided the evening smoothly with sharp, focused remarks that kept everyone fully engaged. Conservative MP Marc Dalton also joined us and offered encouraging words during the Q&A - we were grateful to have his support on such an important night, along with many other federal and provincial Conservative election candidates. We exist to elect strong, principled, common-sense Conservative mayors and councillors across British Columbia.
