I'm still processing what I felt after watching this movie. All I can say is if we're going to marry religious men, it should be those that truly read, understand and practice it. i have a friend who is stupidly wealthy. she doesn’t flaunt it or anything but she always has crazy expensive gifts for me anytime we hang out. i use to feel bad about not having gifts in return untill she told me how much she loved the gossip i was giving her. she found my stories funny and enjoyed them so she always brought gifts because she felt like she owed me in exchanged for the entertainment.
i think this is about as close as you can get in modern times to being a court jester
