@SmallerFishGAA Wouldn't buy into the wounded animal stuff personally. We've seen a few times in the last 2 seasons or so that when you go at them with high intensity, because of their negative attitude (not losing > winning) they crumble. Any team that can bring that knows they have a good shot
Donegal were way off it today - the wides and the defending was so unlike them.
Like before the All Ireland final last year, everyone was raving about how brilliant they are and they ended up flat
They are very dangerous now for the All Ireland now they're a wounded animal imo
@thespursweb We are going down. Final nail in the coffin today unfortunately. Whatever the multitude of reasons may be we just do not have it in us to win a game. Worrying times ahead
@PeterLyster6@Daily_Hotspur@szyexcl It is not good. Nothing against him personally but he is a nothing player in whatever system we have. He runs around a lot and beyond that nothing
@alancaw It might seem too early to say but honestly think the full back pairing they have in Hakimi and Mendes are as good as any full backs we have seen this century. Both can attack and defend and are technically outstanding. Big reason for PSGs success last season in my opinion
A drug dealer dubbed the 'Ketamine Queen' has been sentenced to 15 years in prison in the US in connection with the fatal overdose of Friends star Matthew Perry, including her role in supplying the dose of the powerful anesthetic that killed the actor rte.ie/entertainment/…
Spurs should have kept Frank till the summer. Going to Tudor was ridiculous and it could cost them big time. We're talking club stability issues if they end up in the Championship. Incredible how badly some clubs are run. Fan Ownership has never been more needed
@GaryCoop3r@markgoldbridge Ange was a tough one. I think you can see both sides of the argument for sacking him or keeping him. Obviously hindsight is a great thing so it looks a stupid decision now
Never thought I'd see us in this position. Utterly heartbreaking. You have to worry that, with all the momentum and energy we've given them this week, if you can't win this game, the rest are going to be a mountain to climb. Can only hope they dig deep with what time they have left.
@craigieboy2021@TalkingTHFC It goes far beyond that. The team that was put out, with everything that was said before the game with fans etc, is more than good enough to get some sort of a result. Plain and simple we are doomed. Whatever has gone wrong this season there is no escaping this
@InvertTheWing In the circumstances I do not hold it against him as much. Desperation all over the field. He is still so much improved from earlier in the season and least year. Looks a real player if we can keep him with this hunger and drive
Tel’s biggest flaw is he is far, far too greedy. Like unexplainably greedy.
I do not think I saw him pass the ball once in the 2nd half. He tries to do everything himself.
This is why I see him as a 9 and not LW. Too greedy to be off the left.
@TalkingTHFC The last time this was supposed to happen was vs Arsenal a few weeks ago and we all know how that turned out! There is absolutely no excuses from here on out. Nothing but a win will do
Sunday's atmosphere needs to be Conte vs. Arsenal levels of biblical. We've got to do everything we can to get them over the line against Forest.
Stadium needs to be rocking ✨️🤍
People are focused on the little details in a football match, but the little details are caused or influenced by big decisions outside of a football match.
Drawing today to Wolves wouldn't matter if City didn't have Semenyo.
But wisdom is not enough for fools.
🚨 Bukayo Saka did everything he could vs Wolves tonight:
• 1 goal
• 4 passes into the final third
• 1 chance created
• 5 dribbles (most)
• 11 duels won (most)
• 3 tackles
• 3 interceptions
• 9 recoveries
@fiago7 Unbelievable club. Way up in the arctic circle. Class stadium, fans, and atmosphere. Bet it's a proper away day. Using almost all Norwegian players too. And they don't shy away when playing opposition better than them they just stick to their game plan. Big respect for them 👏🏼
Massive respect to Bodø though. The comeback they‘ve pulled off in the Champions League is a small miracle. From basically knocked out to beating Man City, then Atlético Madrid and then Inter. The first 3 UCL wins in club history, all against heavyweights.
This needs calling out. A weekend for a trophy no one takes seriously anymore. Too many games and the vast majority fielding weakened teams. Search your heart. The FA Cup is dead
