Real Madrid could have gone through but… You cannot hope that 2-3 top games in April save the season. No other top team in Europe allows two players not to defend, or avoid doing the kind of defensive commitment that Real Madrid showed today. Why only today? It is the story of the last two years. Real need a collective structure, idea, call it what you want. But that process will have its up and downs, and the club will have to be patient with either Arbeloa (many fans would keep him and he has shown his deep understanding of the game) or whoever comes next. They keep falling in the same hurdle and it is now two years with no trophies since the European Supercup in the summer of 2024

He is LITERALLY asking for it. The GK and outfield players are all coached for this and are told that the GK is to give Gray the ball here. Archie Gray needs to play it first time or be stronger. He did neither. This is basic football knowledge. That’s why all the players went to Gray to comfort him and not Vicario. They all knew whose fault it was.

How on earth can you put the blame on Archie???? Vicario put him under unnecessary pressure. It was a rash decision!!

FT Spurs 3-0 Sparta Prague It’s been quite a fiesty game and win we throughly deserved and hopefully a confidence booster the ref was way out of his depth the bookings in the first half for Micky which puts him out the next game. Richy should have scored early but the ball hit the keeper who superb for them. This game was more end to end than I thought in the first half in the end a Cuti header from the corner was then headed in brilliantly by their defender it was a bizzare goal. We came out with intent in the second half the ref giving us a pen which the players gave to kudus who dispatched it effortlessly then Xavi was brought down in the box and he put away the penalty even tho the keeper got a hand to it. On the downside Vicario had to make 4/5 saves from poor strikes we can’t afford to give away these chances to better teams. It’s a win and we are now 9th #COYS 🤍💙

I've said it before & I'll say it again; Son Heung Min, even on the decline, posed a far greater goal threat than the likes of Tel, Odobert, Johnson, Richy -- even Kudus and Xavi on that evidence. Should never have sold him without proper replacements.
