One of the most disheartening things for me is encountering patients whose mental health woes have a primarily social aetiology. How do I help someone who’s sniffing glue because it reduces their appetite & helps them cope with having no food to eat?

The Steroids in Pneumonia (SONIA) trial led by @Shindeh and @TonyEtyang shows that adding low dose steroids to standard antibiotics could be a low-cost way to reduce pneumonia deaths and improve survival in resource-limited settings.
