It all unfolds right in front of him. But the most chilling part isn’t the killers in the shadows. It’s the bodyguard. The very man trusted to shield him appears to have delivered him straight into the hands of those who wanted him dead. The betrayal is almost unbearable to watch. And it’s hard to ignore the signs he may have sensed the danger himself. The switch from the Land Cruiser V8 to a Toyota Crown doesn’t look random anymore. It looks like fear. Like someone trying quietly to stay alive. Yet it still happened. Men sat down, planned it, and carried it out like it was nothing. A human life erased with terrifying precision. If there’s one brutal lesson here, it’s this: Your enemy is rarely the stranger in the dark. Sometimes, he’s the one standing right beside you.

Congratulations to Deborah 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Our first recipient of the Pauline Bakibinga Memorial Scholarship, @ @DeborahNeumbe, has successfully completed her MSc in Bioinformatics from @Makerere University, marking a major milestone in her research journey! The scholarship is an award established in honour of the late Dr. Pauline Bakibinga to support outstanding female scientists in digital health across East Africa. Deborah’s project, rMAP‑WEB, transformed a complex bioinformatics command‑line tool into a user‑friendly web platform for bacterial genomic analysis, making antimicrobial resistance surveillance more accessible to health workers and researchers.
