@Templarpilled I mean, the only reason why Gryffindor was so far behind in the first place was because the main characters were caught out of bed, with the last-minute points effectively amounting to Dumbledore forgiving their transgression and Gryffindor getting a net gain of twenty points.

This is the Motor Vessel "EMILIANO ROSALES-BIROU," a 777-foot ocean liner loosely modeled after the SS "FRANCE" of 1960 and named after @chuggaaconroy, who uploaded the first episode of his first Let's Play on March 26th, 2008.

for some reason there’s a misconception that Lily “rejected” Snape and for his looks, at that? she never did that, she ended the friendship because he called her an in-universe slur and twisting the narrative to be “girl rejects boy” is counterproductive and also gross

@andrastimot When Lavender was casted in the first few films, (Before the books had made her relevant) it was by two different extras, one of whom was black, which led to accusations of whitewashing when she was given a proper actress for the sixth film.

@andrastimot Lavender needs to change categories: The text of Half-Blood Prince described her and Ron's arms as being so tightly wrapped around each other as they were snogging that Harry couldn't tell whose were whose.

I truly think this was a generational casting mistake Alan Rickman's Snape IS Snape Adam Driver could have played the most significant, and emotional role of his life. Not only as Snape, but as an actor perfectly suited to fill the shoes of Alan Rickman's Masterpiece "greasy-haired man with a pale, sneering face” “stringy, pallid look about him” “sallow skin, a hooked nose and greasy, shoulder-length black hair”

@andromaxeoftroy To further explain this point, while Hermione is primarily book-smart, Ron is street-smart, while Harry has emotional intelligence and empathy. However, just because these are their specializations doesn't mean they can't fill the other roles in certain situations.

"harry is an intelligent boy" ≠ he has the best marks out of his entire cohort the conflation of doing well in school and being intelligent is very weird. hermione has her strengths, but so does harry. ron too. doing well in school isn't the only metric to measure intelligence

@SCentralized Jensaarai1 had what I consider to be a pretty good theory about this alleged civil war—that it's a false conflict between two supposed factions whose leaders are in cahoots with each other, ironically not too dissimilar to the Clone Wars itself.

Yeah there was aurebesh fan graffiti saying "Mara Jade Lives" in a bathroom at Galaxy's Edge and a bunch of YouTubers and fans all talked about it, some tying it into the "Lucasfilm civil war"

This isn’t for attention but I want as many answers I could get. What’s the most obscure real life Star Wars, behind-the-scenes, controversies, and oddities you can think of? For me, it’s the Mara Jade Galaxy’s Edge bathroom incident

@Blindeyes133 @HubPointless We know there will be scenes exclusive to this show such as Hermione receiving her Hogwarts letter, and my guess is that we might see the same thing with Ron. But as the series goes on and the source material gets longer, they won't need to make their own scenes as much.

@HubPointless It's crazy because you can breeze through that first book in an afternoon. Unless season 1 is like both books 1 and 2, they're gonna have to use filler material. Just a stupid idea all the way through.

@Masonius21 @HubPointless That was in the fourth book, and the other characters don't question the house elves' lot in life for the same reason as the elves themselves: They've been raised to consider it part of the status quo. They're happy to serve as long as they are treated well.
