@ohbricki @againstgrmrs Elliot seems to be constantly in pain now. Gender reassignment surgery has a high risk of complications so Elliot should not be speaking in favour of it. I know some people have found genuine happiness with a complete operation but Elliot does not seem to have found it.

I'm 5 days away from 1 full year on E. Recently, a family friend, who I haven't seen for a bit longer visited. They commented on how I'm suddenly so full of life. I don't know what to say, it just made me feel so happy to be accepted and looking back, I'm doing amazingly!

Came out to a friend I haven't spoken to in a while, his only response was "Your new name is cool, how did you decide it" and that is the type of allyship that just brings me joy. Basically no reaction whatsoever, lol
