@mikepat711 My car once sat in a Tesla service parking lot in the same spot I left it for 48 hours because they simply forgot about it! I ended up picking up my vehicle and rescheduling the appt.

Chat my service appointment at Tesla started at 12:30ET and my car is still sitting in the parking lot where I left it. Is my day about to be cooked?

No shade on Tesla, but after a few months with these Unplugged Performance Road Warrior wheels, I can say that they will be the first thing I buy on any new Tesla for the rest of my life. Immediate buy. Before I even take delivery. They are so much nicer than what Tesla puts on stock. Makes the car feel like another level of quality. Because it is. This is the best car I’ve ever owned. Feels like a total tank. I’d never road trip in anything else.

What sucks is I had to move offices and now work in a building surrounded by Amazon. Semis are everywhere. There were semis in front of me, behind me, and on the sides, crappy Ca freeway with tons of bumps, the semi in front of me kicked up a whole slew of rocks. The windshield is cracked too

This is my biggest fear

If you approach a problem with the mindset that solving it is impossible, you’ll be correct. Assuming nothing is impossible and you will find a way. Starship’s next flight test is tonight.

My 9 year old daughter has had a crush on this boy since school started. She has always been afraid to talk to him until today. She finally worked up her courage, walked over to him and asked if he would be her friend. Him being a dumb boy, he said NO! and ran away. She has been crying since she got home. She said her heart is broken and she had never felt this way before. She was so nervous and has been talking about being brave enough to talk to him for months and all she wanted was to be his friend 😢 I stopped on my way home and got her ice cream and flowers. Fellow dads, if you have a daughter, you need to show her how she should be treated and set her standards high.

Just drove my Model 3 Performance through the entire Highway 1 from Carmel to Morro Bay on my way home to SoCal. What an epic drive, crossed that off my bucket list and worth the early wake up. Highly recommend!

@dezmondOliver Fair enough. IMO if they’re selling those vehicles I’m sure they’ve covered the part replacement side of it too.

@Shoaib117A No it’s not. It’s a legit question. If a model x or s owner needs a replacement part 5 years from now and it’s sort of a specialty part that wasn’t mass produced, does Tesla make the part if they don’t have it in stock? Do they just say too bad?

So what happens if a Model S or X needs a part replaced? Is your car absolutely totaled if your tailgate is dented and you need a new one?
