🚨🚨| One of Michael Carrick’s most difficult selection decisions post-international break will be choosing between Patrick Dorgu and Matheus Cunha on the left flank.
Prior to his injury, Dorgu was in excellent form, using his explosive pace and direct style to stretch opposition defences.
His return introduces a markedly different dynamic to Cunha’s technical ability and intelligent movement into the half-spaces, where he links effectively with Bruno to dominate possession.
Selecting Dorgu restores raw width and power, while retaining Cunha maintains an extra creative presence in central areas.
A genuine selection headache – and a welcome one given the quality and depth now available.
My ideal United summer window:
Midfield has to be the priority. I’d go for Anderson + Tonali as the main two, then add a third depth option like Mateus Fernandes, João Gomes or Agoumé so we finally have proper rotation.
On the wing, we need a real left winger. Barcola would be my dream signing but it’s probably unrealistic, so someone like Diomande – young, inexperienced but very exciting.
Full-back is another position we can’t ignore. We have to sign at least one. I really rate Alejandro Balde despite the injury concerns. Lewis Hall would also be perfect but feels impossible. Nathaniel Brown looks promising too, even if I haven’t watched loads of him yet.
Centre-back can probably wait until next year, but by 2027 we absolutely need to bring in one or two.
Up front, I’d keep things simple and cheap. A free signing like Danny Welbeck or someone like Solanke if Spurs somehow went down would be enough as a squad option.
That kind of window would genuinely fix most of the squad issues in one summer.
Can INEOS deliver?
Thats another issue.
🚨🚨| This starting XI would make Man United unbeatable in England.
Pairing Tonali and Bruno Guimarães in central midfield creates an untouchable engine room: Tonali offers relentless energy and defensive discipline with quick forward transitions, while Bruno provides elite ball retention and creative vision.
Replacing Luke Shaw with Lewis Hall on the left adds youthful dynamism and attacking threat.
With this squad, competing for — and winning — the Premier League title is a certainty. ❤️🤌
Are you making any changes?
Manchester United fans will rather get rid of Dalot and keep Luke Shaw.
Dalot is always fit, makes diagonal paces into the midfield, very good on the ball, great link up play, makes crosses.
Luke shaw is barely fit and when he is , it’s during a World Cup year and he is back to default settings, rarely makes crosses into the final third and back passes.
Dalot might be poor in finishing but I’ll keep him and sell Luke Shaw off.
What has Bruno Fernandes done this season to deserve being in the conversation for Player of the Season?
Enzo Fernández has been a better player this season than him. People just hate Chelsea players for no reason.
I’d give it to Declan Rice ahead of Bruno if it were up to me.
Casemiro departure might hit #MUFC harder than first thought. I’ve discussed the central midfield issue at length on this platform. Clear United need two in there, but having watched Wharton closely this season, I’m not sure he’s part of the answer. There’s options in Spain, Tonali at Newcastle, and of course, Baleba from Brighton. Casemiro’s experience, leadership, and ability to score/perform in big games is huge. You hope people can grow and develop into leaders, but it’s easier said than done. Forest’s Anderson would be ideal I think, but is he favouring the blue half of Manchester? Casemiro u-turn has been ruled out by club I think. 😬
@Utd_becks1 Well I think we need 2 good players in MID, so we can rotate with Mainoo, he cant be our main option. But the real question is who do we buy... Wharton, Anderson, Baleba, Matheus Fernandes, Alex Scott, Tonali ? Id buy from EPL
A lot of people really love Mainoo on this app, I only have one question you lot. What does Kobbie Mainoo bring to this United team.
Vitinha dictates the midfield on his own.
Rice is a good ball carrier and passer.
Bellingham scores goals and provides assists.
Pedri has his spin thing
Valverde is the most versatile midfielder in the world.
Caicedo is defensively solid.
But what does Kobbie Mainoo do that makes you lot go crazy over him, because he's doesn't do any of what the players above do.
🚨OUTGOINGS THIS SUMMER :
☑️ Casemiro
⏳ Malacia
⏳ Ugarte
⏳ Mount
⏳ Shaw
⏳ Zirkzee
⏳ Rashford
⏳ Hojlund
⏳ Onana
That's 100 million per year wages, average age of close to 28 and 100m-120m in transfer fees just sitting there wasted.
🔴 UPDATE | MAN UNITED will save up to £50m-£65m annual savings incoming
From painful flops to future fuel!
