I used @DoorDash for the first time a few weeks ago and I will NEVER use them again. Their app is an outright scam. I purchased two items valued @ $68.99 from a Target > Subtotal: $137.98 > Tax: $9.14 (NJ Sales Tax of 6.625%) > Delivery Fee: $1.99 > Service Fee: $4.99 > Dasher Tip $12.32 note: Delivery Fee & Service Fee were waived bc of a trial promotion. Total: $159.44 --- here's the thing... Target has NEVER sold that item @ $68.99. The item was listed at the time for $59.99. That means that in addition to the Delivery Fee and the Service Fee, I was silently charged an additional $18. Not only that, but I was TAXED on the upcharged number for an additional $1.20. ~$20 of hidden costs ON TOP OF the stated costs of using DoorDash it's an outright scam and I'm amazed so many people still use it.
