Although vex has been very reactionary in the past, no one deserves to be mobbed, harassed like this. As for Kodiak, not my cup of tea. It’s a shame he lost his job but we are taught from an early age that whatever you put online stays online forever. It says here that his name was always public knowledge as he has his Facebook in his socials. I remember when I was younger that employers do care how their employees represent themselves online. There is an investigation that usually takes place with evidence for days or even weeks before they terminate. Whatever they found online is what made their decision final. Not just the word of an anonymous tip.

If this discourse has brought anything to light, it's the pitifully anemic understanding men seem to have of what explicit and enthusiastic consent looks like. Sex should require no convincing or active guess work. If you truly believe she wants you, just fucking ask.

Nyara is correct. If you are an outspoken trans creator or support trans rights, the pressure is brutal. The many people come after you hard constant attacks, doxxing attempts, and organized harassment. The criticism from inside the community can hit even harder because it feels like betrayal from people who should get it. I’ve watched this play out a lot. I’ve spent time around right leaning streamers and communities, and while some of them are genuinely open to real conversation, a huge chunk just want to farm easy clips and outrage fuel. They paint every trans person with the same brush and rarely make room for nuance or the ones pushing back against the takes they may have. It becomes a cycle: left eats its own for not being pure enough, right uses any crack to paint them as delusional. I think she is right that they don’t have the luxury of playing the “everyone’s after me” card if people who support transgender rights want to stay credible. Sticking to actual values and handling backlash with honesty is what separates real voices from clout chasers. Trans creators are held to insane standards because our words carry weight. One viral clip and suddenly politicians are quoting you. I appreciate her being so real and refusing to stay silent even when it may be uncomfortable for her. Cause her perspective, who actually thinks instead of just parroting the script is refreshing and not something I thought I would find. The community needs more of this honesty, not more fragility.
